Coffee from Fernwood Coffee Company
Nestled in the heart of Fernwood Square, Little June café is the place to go for an early morning breakfast with a smile or an afternoon espresso with your fresh made sandwich.
It didn't start here though. Years ago I was living in Yellowknife, flying for a living, and discovering just how much you start to crave a really good cup of coffee when there isn't one anywhere near you. So I learned to roast it myself — in my bathroom, the only room with enough ventilation to get away with it at -40°. What began as a workaround became an obsession, and eventually that obsession became loud enough to walk away from a career for.
All these years later I'm lucky enough to have landed in what I genuinely believe is Victoria's most unique and special neighbourhood — a place where community isn't just something people talk about, it's what actually happens here every day.
Our goal is simple: from morning to afternoon, we want to share quality food and drinks with you as much as we want to share your time. Everything is made with care in-house using the best seasonal ingredients from local farms. Whether you're grabbing breakfast on the run, lingering over a lazy lunch, or need a late afternoon pick-me-up, there's a place here for you.
More than 110 years have passed since the Parfitt brothers first built the heritage building we now call home. We're proud to write our chapter in Fernwood Square's rich and continuing story.
Come experience local flavour, spend some time in the neighbourhood — and find yourself at home at Little June.
